Breakfast Oatmeal Premix

“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” is an old saying in many countries. Most of the nutritionist suggest a bowl of oatmeal in the morning. I do eat oatmeal in my breakfast. During the week, I don’t have much time as I leave early for work so I started preparing this premix for oatmeal. You need to spend may be 10 minutes in 2 weeks and you have this healthy bowl of goodness at your fingertips. It takes 3 minutes to prepare healthy breakfast. You will never complain about not having enough time to make healthy breakfast at home. This is so filling, it keeps me full for next couple hours.

I also took this in my recent trip. Because of COVID, many hotels did not serve the breakfast, this was the easiest healthy breakfast I was able to make in 2 mins using microwave in the room.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 0 minutes


1/2 cup ground flex seeds
2 tbsp hemp seed
25-30 almond chopped
12-15 Walnut chopped
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp cinnamon powder
3 tbsp raisins


1. Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl and store in a clean jar. You can store this at room temperature.

2.  When you want to prepare oatmeal for breakfast, microwave quick oats in milk or water for 2 minutes. Then add 2 tbsp of this mixture and mix well. If you like berries then you can add it dry berries in the premix or fresh when preparing oats. Or just eat this super healthy bowl of oatmeal as it is. Other method is you can mix this premix with oats. Then when you are preparing oatmeal just heat premixed oat in water or milk and eat. It take literary 3 minutes to prepare healthy breakfast.

You can add chia seeds to premix too. You can add fresh fruits like banana, berries, apple, etc at the last minute before eating. You can also add this to muesli (overnight oats). This breakfast is good for all ages. Change the ingredients and make as per your taste. This is the most nutritious bowl of goodness.
