5 Minute Muesli

How about starting your day with this beautiful bowl of goodness?

One of my absolute favorite healthy breakfast which requires no effort at all. Prepare this a night before and add some nuts, fruits in the morning and it is ready to eat. Oats has soluble fiber which helps in digestion and also helps in cholesterol.  After eating this, we noticed sugar level didn’t go very high. You can prepare in milk, yogurt or water.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 0 minutes


Steel cut/quick oats – 30 gm
Milk/Water – 1 cup
and your imagination


1. Soak Oatmeal in milk or water overnight. You can leave this in fridge.

2. In the morning, add dry fruits, nuts, seeds fruits, berries, grated apple, etc. and mix well. This time I only added blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, raisins and pumpkin seeds. Just use your imagination and add things you enjoy eating.

Enjoy this delicious healthy breakfast. It keeps me full for few hours and it digest slowly in our system. This is the most nutritious bowl of goodness. Change the ingredients and make as per your taste.
