Most of us exchange gifts or sweets during festival time. This is a last minute gift idea. This idea is not new but for sure a reminder that you can put together something in 5 minutes with 2 ingredients and pack as a gift. Practically no cooking, no ghee, no flour needed. This is a healthy gift box, most of us would love it unless someone is allergic to nuts. You can replace nuts of your choice. You can also roll in roasted dedicated coconut and fill with mixed nut powder. Use your imagination. Make sure to use good quality dates.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Roasted almond
Pitted dates
Procedure:
1. Remove seed from dates by cutting it on one side. Dry roast almond low heat until slightly crunchy and aromatic (4 – 5 mins). You can also use skinned (blanched) almond.
2. Stuff each date with one or 2 whole almond. If you are using mixed nuts then roast and crush them little before stuffing. You can roll these into dedicated coconut.
3. Arrange in a beautiful gift box.
