Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes

Ingredients:Β

1 big onion
Few drops of oil (optional)

Procedure:

1. Remove the outer layer of onion. Cut in half. Make medium thick slices of onion. Cut the slices lengthwise.

2. Add tiny pinch of salt to onion. Rub with hands so all the layer of onion are separated.

3. Set air fryer on French fries setting (400F). Pre heat the air fryer.

4. Then add slices of onion in one layer. You can spray little oil if you want, I didn’t do it. Turn it on. I stir the onion slices every 3-4 mins. I was close by as I was not sure how long it will take. Mine took 10-12 mins. First they felt slight soft but once they cooled down, they turned out perfect.

5. Fried onion were nice and crunchy.

Don’t cut onion slices too thin or it will burn. Thick slices may not get fried properly.
