I am sure you we all go through this mess. I make ghee (clarified butter) at home from the butter. After ghee is done, my stainless steel pan gets so sticky/greasy and bottom is slightly burned. How do I clean it? Very easy trick! Add few cups water and put on the stove/gas. Bring the water to boil and add few drops of dish washing liquid. Turn off the heat. Pour the hot water in the sink and rub the pan/pot with smooth scrub and rinse with clean water. Voila…..the pan is sparkling clean.
When I use non stick pan, after few uses it gets greasy especially if the pan is not very high quality. It is hard to clean as I can not use steel scrub. So I tried the above trick on non stick pan. At the end slightly scrubbed with smooth scrub and it did wonder!
Another tip my daughter gave that add baking soda and while vinegar with water in burned pan and bring it to boil. Slightly scrub with smooth scrub and wash. It always works for her.
