Raita is an easy, simple to make dish and it goes with lots of main dishes like Aloo paratha, spicy Indian pancakes, Biryani etc. You can also use it as a dip with many western dishes. It is very refreshing and has many nutrients, everyone knows the benefit of eating yogurt. No cooking require, how fun is that?
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
1 boiled potato
Yogurt – 1 1/2 cup
1-2 clove garlic grated
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – a pinch
Chopped jalapeno/green chili – 1
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Grate boiled potato. It is better if boiled potato is cold. In a bowl, add finely chopped avocado, grated potato, yogurt, grated garlic, cumin powder, black pepper powder, finely chopped green chili, chopped coriander leaves and salt as per your taste. Mix well and serve chill.
